Yacht Rocard
Valiant 46 |

Description
Rocard is a 46ft sloop to
Alan Hills 'Valiant' design. Her hull was laid up by an
employee of Ferro Marine Services of Burnham on Crouch
in 1978 and plastered in ferro cement by their team. A
recent survey confirmed her hull in excellent condition.
Deck and superstructure & interior were completed
in 1993. Spars and rigging new 1993. Between 1993 and
2003 we circumnavigated in her, and is now lying East
coast UK.
Twin furlers ( slutter rig ), slab reefing, stack pack
main. Full awnings and cockpit cover, alloy dinghy with
10hp motor. Aries vane gear, 800 litres water, 300
litres diesel, 1.7kw Yanmar genset, 240 watts solar
panel, Air marine Wind Gen. 4*Alloy LPG bottles, S/S
barbecue, 2*GPS, Forward Sonar, HF, VHF, Inverter, 12v
Freezer with keel cooler. All sails OK. Ready to go
again, and we fervently wish we were too! |
