Tropical Storms
can, and do, develop out of season; the dates of the storm
seasons opposite are a guide only as storms may develop outside of
these dates (during the official storm season dates, storm risk is
very high, outside of these dates storm risk is low but not zero,
especially the period just before and just after the official
dates).

below. (some sites are slow at reporting storms).

the date of the report is for the current day.

(check date is today) and view status for each
region. Unfortunately it does not give Lat./Long. of storm but at least
you get name of storm and approx. location which you can then cross
reference on other sites.
Click on the current storm "latest" link for
current wind maps. which show wind speed arrows colour coded in knots
for wind strength. |
