Biscay was first published nearly thirty years ago as
South Biscay Pilot and was the result of Robin Brandon’s
pioneering visit to the north coast of Spain during
1971.
The
new and fully revised fifth edition has been compiled
for the Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation who
inherited Robin Brandon’s pilots. During 1998 and 1999
John Lawson sailed along the entire coast and visited
all the harbours collecting the latest data and noting
changes. In this new edition most harbours are
illustrated by an aerial photograph and throughout the
harbour plans have been redrawn in colour. |
